Amazon Update & Fakes

I have made several posts about my Amazon seller account being shut down. Although our account was reinstated, the battle is not over due to a flood of cheap fake replacement cells for not only the ACE but the Freshwater system as well.In either case, the fakes are getting more difficult to identify.
I was told by an Amazon employee that there was no coming back from the alleged policy violation I was accused of. In an effort to get my disbursements and inventory released, I hired Riverbend Consulting. After consulting with them, I was able to determine the real reason my seller account was suspended. I was in my Amazon buyer account when a pop up appeared asking me to rate some recent purchases. In that list were some of the cheap fake Scepters which I purchased and determined they wouldn’t work on the ACE control panel. Since Amazon was asking me to rate them I did. I wasn’t maliciously attacking a competitor.
Riverbend https://riverbendconsulting.com/ was able to craft a very effective letter that removed my suspension. I was able to request a disbursement from my funds. It appears that the best way to get my inventory back is to sell through it.
As much as I want to be done with Amazon it appears many people don’t want to shop somewhere else. We’ll see what happens. If customers want to shop on Amazon, that is their right. We have to get rid of the fake Scepters. It’s not good for either us or the customer. It also appears the fake Scepter replacement cells are becoming more of a problem. I received a call from Jim in Nampa, Idaho who called yesterday about a defective cell. I asked him for a picture. It definitely isn’t one of ours. I asked how he got my number and he said it came with the cell. Jim said he would mail it to me.
